michael buble ... what a cutie.. i love his voice.. and his style of music. it's just really.. attractive and very easy to listen to.

natasha bedingfield ... i love her music. it has such a great message to it.

i am from a town called vermillion, sd. i have lived there all my life..

(minus the college part) and i actually really like this little south dakotan town.

it has a little over 10,000 people..

but also the university of south dakota is located in vermillion

... so the students make the population grow a little bit.

vermillion is located right next to the missouri river. . a kind of gross river. i can't believe i actually swam in there!
also, lewis and clarke found spirit mound near vermillion!!

well.. i am just going to tell you about my favorite eye shadow... which happens to be victoria secret. i just love the color, the look, and the last. it's not that expensive either.. if i were you.. i would totally check it out. i love it!

yes, this is our porch at my house in south dakota... and yes this is my favorite place to eat. i love eating with my family. they just crack me up so much. they're a riot. i miss eating with them... because i absolutely love it.

Absolutely the Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

"This is a secret family recipe for chocolate chip cookies! Everyone who tries them begs for more. Enjoy!!"

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup butter flavored shortening 3/4 cup white sugar 3/4 cup brown sugar 2 eggs 2 teaspoons Mexican vanilla extract

2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon salt 2 cups milk chocolate chips

DIRECTIONS:

1.	Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.
2.	In a large bowl, cream together the butter flavored shortening, brown sugar and white sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well with each addition, then stir in the vanilla .Combine the flour, baking soda and salt; gradually stir into the creamed mixture. Finally, fold in the chocolate chips. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheets.
3.	Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, until light brown. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.

i chose this song because i finally told my parents and my family that i am not going to be moving back to south dakota for the summer. i am staying here(rexburg, idaho) or moving to utah. it's hard because i know how much i love being

around my family and they mean the world to me. they really do. i love my parents soo, so much and they are literally like my best friends. i love my brother and his fiance sara (who are getting married on may 28th!) and i am so, so excited for them to begin their life in vermillion, sd. i love my family at home. i love my dogs and i love my friends. but.. i .. i almost feel like i have grown into an adult here.. i have become who i am.. and i just love all of my friends. my roommates are literally like my sisters. i love each of them SOO much. i am growing up. i am holding leadership positions and i have responsibilities. weird right? but it's true... to me, at this point.. it doesn't make sense for me to just leave

everything and move back home for a couple months. and it's hard.. it's hard to talk to my dad about it... because it's hard to tell him that i am growing up... it's hard to tell

him i'm not eighteen anymore... and that i'm only visiting home this time. .. but.. i know it's the right decision. .. and that doesn't mean i will always be happy i made the decision.. and that doesn't mean that i won't miss being with my family at home over the summer...and it doesn't mean that it will be simple.. .. but it does mean that i've taken the initiative to maybe.. perhaps.. almost.. become...dare i say it?.. grow up and become an adult.

my dream wedding... hmmm.

i have always wanted an outdoor wedding.. a summer wedding. i want all my family and friends to come together and celebrate and have just the greatest time. my dream wedding would include lots of laughter, smiles, and great memories. my outdoor wedding reception will have tones of tables and lights draping over the area. there will be a dance floor.. a big one. (everyone will be required to dance). their will be lanterns and flowers and bubbles and fun stuff for everyone.

also, my dream wedding would include a temple marriage. i want to get married in a temple (who knows which one?) for time and all eternity. i've included pictures of some temples that i think are just so gorgeous. directly below is a picture of the sealing room in the manti, utah temple. isn't sooooo beautiful? the bride and groom kneel at the alter and receive a blessing upon their marriage in which lasts through all eternity... as in.. forever!... none of this "til' death do we part".
